Devin Skatzka and Andrew Morgan, current Spartan Combat RTC senior level athletes who were Division I All-Americans in college, will be leading the Spartan Agoge Program going forward.
Skatzka, the third place finisher at the 2021 Senior Freestyle Nationals at 79 kg, was a four-time NCAA qualifier and two-time All-American for Minnesota at 174 pounds. He compiled over 100 victories in college.
Morgan was a first-team All-American and the Southern Conference champion at 184 pounds in 2020. The two-time NCAA qualifier captured 93 wins for Campbell University during his career and was a multi-time All-Academic team member.
Skatzka and Morgan take the reins from Scottie Boykin, who recently accepted an assistant coaching job at Air Force and will also be the head coach of the Air Force Regional Training Center.
The Spartan Combat RTC Agoge program is designed to provide an affordable option for the student-wrestler looking for a year of high level training and competition before matriculating into college full time. The program provides academic support, collegiate competition experience, housing, and strength and conditioning training in a family-like atmosphere.
