Spartan Combat RTC athletes will have numerous chances to make World Teams in the next week - in Oklahoma, Ohio, and New York City.
The action gets started on Friday, June 3 in Stillwater as Vito Arujau takes on reigning World Champion Thomas Gilman at 57 kg in a best two-out-of-three series at Final X.
Then, on Saturday and Sunday, several Spartans will hit the mat in the Buckeye State at the U20 and U23 World Team Trials.
Vince Cornella won the U20 US Open title in Las Vegas a few weeks ago, and as a result, has a bye to the best-of-three finals at 65 kg. Joining Cornella in the U20 Freestyle event is Spartan Agoge member Erik Gibson (74 kg) and Ethan Hatcher (86 kg).
The following are registered for U23 Freestyle:
57 kg: Greg Diakomihalis, Brett Ungar

125 kg: Brendan Furman
Phillip Moomey will represent Spartan RTC in U23 Greco Roman at 60 kg.
After the weekend, the wrestling isn't over, as Yianni Diakomihalis (65 kg), Kyle Dake (74 kg), and Nick Gwiazdowski (125 kg) will compete for Senior World Team spots on Wednesday evening in New York City at Final X.
